Lies, Damm Lies and WhatReallyHappened
Spreading disinformation is lot like herding sheep. And the CIA/NSA have used classic sheep herding techniques to establish their disinfo outlets. Here's how.I don't know if you ever did any actual sheep work, but it's really straightforward. Approach some sheep in a field and put them under a little pressure. They begin to move away.
Come a bit closer. Now they're looking left and right for an exit. Come closer still. Now they're desperate for a way out. That's when you have a friend open a gate. And lo and behold, the relieved sheep flow out through the open gate like a river seeking lower ground. You can herd them from field to field -and they will always move in the direction which eases the pressure. Get it?
The information managers use the same technique. First -clamp down the media so there is no outlet for the truth. That's how you create the field around the sheep. Now they are boxed in. Then put them under a little presure -like say... 9/11. Now, you got them looking for an outlet. An outlet which eases the pressure. Any outlet.
So you provide one. And hey presto, They head straight for it.
We all feel the need for some media outlet to reflect our world view. It's a need which has been ruthlessly exploited to create many faux news outlets. One distinguishing characteristic is that they tell us what we want to hear -and then some. They rant. They rave. It's called emotional release. Or it's called -letting the peasants blow off some steam. And it's relatively harmless in political terms. Especially when the little venting of truth is mixed liberally with plenty of confusing disinformation.
As an investigator, I know this. So I wait. And I have. Waited. Waited until they discredit themselves. Which whoever is behind WhatReallyHappened has just done.
Many know I have written extensively about so-called 'Saddam before. Back when he was 'captured': Saddamplicity. Then recently I wrote new articles about the fake 'Saddam'.
The first: Liar Liar, Saddam's Pants on Fire on Friday, May 20, 2005; and the second: Crazy Saddam to Dismiss Lawyers -Prediction on Monday, May 23, 2005.
The very next day, May 24th -Michael Rivero at WhatReallyHappened claimed that by sheer coincidence: "earlier today a reader sent me the following image." You'll never guess? It was an image of Saddam. I knew then, that WhatReallyHappened were about to provide the disinfo crew response to what I had just written.
And they blew it.
First, to bolster his street cred, Rivero claimed to be having entirely coincidental new doubts about Saddam because a 'reader' had just emailed him two photos showing 'New Saddam's' teeth were uneven -whereas 'Old Saddam's' teeth were perfect. [Pic] Then later that day he reveals the true reason for raising the issue with an update to say that more research has 'discovered' another photo showing that 'New 'Saddam's' teeth are perfect after all. [Pic] So they must be the same guy. Voila! [Article]Now I'd like to draw your attention to something. Nowhere. Not Ever. Not once, even, have I ever referred to 'Saddam's teeth. Go check. From the article published hours after they supposedly caught him, I wrote about half a dozen, and I never mention the teeth once. Never.
There's a good reason why. I already knew the teeth were the official red herring planted to confuse the issue. The photos seeming to show uneven teeth were digitally degraded to look that way.
Let me make this very clear: U.S. Psyops altered a few of the military-supplied photos of 'Saddam' so that this disinfo crew could use that later to confuse the doubters. Plenty of other photos would show the teeth are nice and even. So it was a no-risk red herring. Perfect.
I knew this from way back. My suspicions were confirmed when Joe Vialls, on July, 3rd, 2004 made a big deal of one of the digitally altered teeth photos: Here. The reason that helped confirm my thoughts, is because I had long before figured out, like a lot of others -that Vialls is pretty clumsy disinfo.
(By the way, like WhatReallyHappened, Vialls is a relentless anti-Zionist ranter. It plays well at the emotional level. But, that's something else they have in common -besides Saddam's teeth and their common employer.)
Saddam's teeth are a run-of-the-mill misdirection gambit. There are plenty of legitimate, substantial questions about 'Saddam' that don't involve teeth. I have covered them all. WhatReallyHappened ignores them all and promotes the misdirection psyop instead.
The same techniques of planted red herrings, and ignored real evidence have been used in the 9/11 coverup, so technical 9/11 analysts should take note.

I'm not even going to warble on about the 'Peak Oil' rubbish that Rivero has been pushing for over a year. That's another story again. I'm not going to even bother discrediting Rivero further -he's doing a great job himself.
Rivero is just the tip of the iceberg. They have a frikkin' alt-media empire of 'alternative' websites and broadcast outlets. It's the kind of vast disinfo effort befitting the coverup of the murder of over 3,000 people and the subsequent slaughter of 100,000+ Iraqis. And so the disinfo show rolls on at all political levels, left, right and center. It's infotainment for bewildered sheep. And they got all the gates covered. Every shade of political and media opinion. Like a demented version of niche marketing.
But, you know that. Which is why you are here.

The teeth issue is interesting as they were shown to the world on the staged pre-trial corporate news extravaganza. They definitely are as crooked as an old picket fence (I recorded the video). Of course the whatreallyhappened have chosen a choice frame where they don't look too bad. What I haven't been able to track down is a good photo of the real Saddam's pearly whites. Interestingly you can also find this fake Saddam in some earlier photos too. So he's been around for a while. But that should be no surprise as this whole disinfo campaign has been in the planning for at least as long as the International Herald Tribune have had that interesting logo on page one. Talking about the IHT, check out the time on the clock. 6-11. Then check out the new Doctor Who episode Aliens in London. What is the time on Big Ben when its hit? It appears to be 10:58 but in fact the image is back to front so the clock really is showing 2:02. Reverse Symbolism perhaps? Guess what time the next scene shows. 6-11.
Back to the topic, whatreallyhappened is a disinfo site that is certain but the teeth issue is not so cut and dried. I subscribe more to the theory that the thugs employed to run the psyops are just morones.

It is not as Mr. Jones and co would have you believe. It is in fact a natural evolution of the planet driven by the basic law of nature which is self preservation.
Jeff Rense in his interview with Alex Jones on GCN recently was mulling over the question of why these guys who will inherit the Earth appear to be doing evrything to destroy it? Well what is the dominant organism on the planet? It is not man, it is the corporation. And the Earth is only big enough for one to survive.
At the present time consumption, waste and contamination is good in the view of each corporate empire, if it gives it a competitive advantage in the survival game.
When we reach the time when just one corporation controls the planet, the rules of the game will change completely but the motivating force will be the same, self preservation. Commerce that doesn't pass through the mega corp will be outlawed, consevation of rescourses and elimination of waste will be paramount even if that means elimination of most of us.
The infrastucture for this new paradigm is being installed now and the top gangsters are just jockeying for position. The NWO is unstopable, it is a law of nature, the real issue is this the way we want it to come about?
Fintan, I don't know a thing about teeth, either. I did mention them a while back. I don't know if Saddam has a pair of fake chompers or if they were digitally altered. All I know is the government lies--all the time. I don't doubt Saddam is drinking Margarittas in Uganda in a posh villa while his double sweats it out in Camp Cropper. I don't doubt it and I don't believe anything, except this: the government lies, it kills people, it pulls the proverbial wool over the eyes of the somnolent public. Did the government here in the United States create a phony nine eleven movement? I don't doubt it. In fact, it seems altogether likey--very likely. I don't trust anybody and haven't since I was followed around by state police working for COINTELPRO in 1970. See, I was an antiwar activist. I have some problems with aspects to his site but then I have problems with a lot of things. I wouldn't doubt seemingly good people work for Bush on a freelance basis. I don't bout Saddam's teeth were digitally manipulated. Hell, Saddam is a CIA manipulation. LSD was a CIA manipulation. That said, I hold to ideas--albeit paranoid--that seem right to me: you can't trust the government, sociopaths rise to the top like fresh feces oozing gas bubbles in the social cesspool on a wam June afternoon. I don't even trust to motivations of the mayor of Bumfuck, New Mexico, where I live, or the city council, or the state gov, my "representatives," senators, or the guy running a campaign as street sweeper. I've got thoughts spinning around, and I should probably wait to get some clarity before commenting, but what the heck.
I find myself going back to the framework that you proposed, Fintan, along the lines that the events of 911 would have been years in planning, and would encompass a signficant number of years of what would ensue afterward.
Rather than focus on Saddam, I find it much more curious to focus on Bush. I tend to believe that he's much less of a initiator of anything: rather he is a useful puppet, perhaps as idiotic as he seems at times. For example, the idea that Bush, or Rove, or even Cheney, or even the so-called NEO Cons, are where the engine of the machine is located is not a thought I agree with. I think anyone who has examined the items that look like bedrock facts has to see major dudes and dudettes behind the curtain.... I'm referring to facts such as:
1) planted explosives in the WTC with requisite control systems
2) Pentagon Small Entry Hole and hardly any plane wreckage
3) Clear coverup with delay of 911 Commission followed by clear 911 Commision obfuscation
4) Massive internal FBI clamp down of letting the so called "terrorist hijackers", preventing them from being arrested prior to when they would be needed.
5) British and US governments working in Lock Step together
6) Sibel Edmonds "parallel path" whistleblowing of massive corruption
I'm sure I'm leaving stuff out from the above list....
(Here's one thought, pretty much beside all the other points I'm commenting about: I agree that preferential treatment was given to Saudi Royals to exit the US after 911. However, given that there's no way that they would all have been needed in the US as part of the operation, why, if the Saudi's where in on 911 in a major way, or had straight forward foreknownledge, would they even put themselves in a vulerable position of needing to fly out in a hurry.)
Although I find the so called Iraq war repugnant, crimminal, etc, and I accept as true about the absolutely unfathomable effect of DU, I somehow don't have much interest in trying the understand the details of the psyops / disinfo in Iraq, and in particular when Saddam. However, I do respect that looking into items such as your post does may expose disinfo agents.
It seems to me that all of debate / search for truth using the internet as a medium at times provides a mirror for each of us to look at ourselves and search our souls for what we stand for, and why we bother with any of this.
Not to drone on and on, let me get to my major point. It seems to me that rather than looking at so many details of what situations are psyops and who are the good or not-so-good guys, if there are any, there are two key questions that to ask:
1) Is it futile to resist the power behind actions on the world stage?
2) If it's not futile (to resist), is there a way that we should be relying on each other for knowledge and coordinated action that would provide a plan for being a true force for stemming and turning the tide.
I welcome anyone's thoughts, and I think I'm beginning to lose hope that the answer to the 1st quesiton, "Is it Futile" is no.
I haven't really seen many pictures beside the ones listed here. Put the teeth aside for a moment. What about othere anomolies? I see an age spot over old Saddams left eye, I also see one near his left lower lip, Have these been dealt with? All the new Saddam pics I've seen have these areas obscured by the beard, or the eyebrow which also seem quite different from old Saddam...are there any more new Saddam pics that might show these areas better?

But the real question is, resist what? If you take the official alternative media mantra "fight the New World Order" then yes it is futile to resist. Without understanding what NWO really means, how can you fight it and what are you fighting for? More interestingly, even the most vocal cardboard cutouts who are promoting the NWO don't even themselves seem to understand the concept. So what are they really promoting?
It would seem the NWO refers to the final state of the world once the market forces enabled by commerce run their full course. It is the inevitable end game of the capitalist system (the ultimate evolution of commerce).
The primary motivating force for any organism is survival. Commerce has given birth to a new breed of organism on the planet called the corporation. Like competing mold spots on a block of cheese, survial requires elimination of the competition through any means possible such as maximum depletion of resources, to stave the competition, even the use of contamination and toxins to its own detriment if it results in a competitive advantage.
These are exactly the strategies we are observing today. These monsters are bigger than any individual or group of individuals, even those who may think they're in control are not in control. These are mega monsters that have evolved and are acting completely rationally, adhering to the fundamental motivating force for all organisms, survival. And when we reach the time when only one of these beasts survives, that state of evolution is the so called NWO.
The real questions should then be.
Is this an inevitable evolution of the planet? ie. Are there any alternatives to this given that the simple concept of commerce and the motivating force, survival, is what has given rise to this super organism (the corporation)?
Is this a desirable evolution of the planet?
Are there any alternatives?
If so, is it at all possible to implement them at this point in time?
If not then we better make sure that sociopaths bringing us into the age of the NWO aren't going to be the ones controlling the beast or else we will soon be experiencing the true meaning of "Down Sizing".
Fintan in general I'm an avid support of breakfornews but when people start accsuing others of being COINTELPRO I am catapulted back to my days on a school playground.

This 'teeth' issue is a deliberate red herring, a dead-end diversion.
Another red herring was the so-called controversy over the 'ripe or unripe' dates in another photo.
These issues are designed to give fake sites something to talk about -without actually questioning anything important.
Mike Rivero also pushes the discredited 'Peak Oil' line. But that could be just because he is misinformed. Lots of people have been on that issue.
But this Saddam's teeth stuff is way beyong misinformed. It's active disinformation to continue the Saddam fairytale.
Why?
BecCause having the general public people believe it's really Saddam is a goddam important part of the public relations support base for the occupation of Iraq.
They could care less if people think Osama is dead. That's a loss leader.
But they have a full truth suppression operation going on the Saddam issue.

Fintan I appreciate your points but far too often I see people calling each other COINTELPRO, Government front operations,etc,etc and really it only divides. Perhaps Mike is just an idiot? surely raising him to the level of COINTELPRO is not only unsupported by any evidence its also a compliment in many ways. You only after to look at a few Oil maps and compare them to current western conquests to see that if Oil is in such rich supply and flowing like water then why the need to secure the remaining oil reserves in the middle east? The argument that its all about boosting oil companies profits is quite short sighted. Oil is not a fashion item, it doesn't go out of fashion, it is a staple requirement of the human species, Oil companies don't need to hike profits or fake an Oil scam. Its quite short sighted to suggest its a scam and here is why.
If the Oil companies are faking it then they are actually promoting and coercing industries to develop alternative fuels, potentially a fake Oil scam could cause a new industry to be born which could one day make the need for Petroleum defunct, thus severely undermining the OIL industry, why do this? for a short lived profit hike of an industry that is already rich beyond imagination? - That makes no sense whatsoever. Running the risk of indirectly creating viable alternatives that could side line the need for Oil forever? man oh man this is a short sighted view and anyone with an understanding of business should know better. Furthermore what happens when this so called Scam is revealed? nobody trusts the Oil companies again, further ruining their business and their finances.
.....But ok it could perhaps be a scam but I have yet to see any compelling evidence for it. Talk of sand tar reserves and oil refineries closing down is perhaps the weakest case I have seen to support the idea that Oil is plentiful, Research Sand tar oil and you soon realize why no one wants it, it costs a fortune to get it and its not all that good quality. One or two Oil spots close down and everyone's like 'Look! there's so much their closing down Oil refineries!'
Undoubtedly their is a few bucks to be made from informing the public about Peak Oil, a dieing industry on its last legs is gonna squeeze what little it has left, that's business. But to suggest the whole thing is a scam is naive.
Still perhaps it is a scam, I reserve complete judgement but do see peak oil as a plausible theory, far more plausible and better evidenced at this stage than the Peak Oil scam theory which is wrought with poor evidence and sensationalistic type fad followers who simple support it coz their 911 truth seeking buddies do too! -But not all of us. Whether people accept it or not Oil is valuable enough to western elites to motivate them to wage wars killing hundreds of thousands of people and start a never ending war in the middle east which, shock horror! just happens to be the home of the largest remaining Oil reserves. Who'd of thought?
But back to my main point it would be great for all of us if we could sniff out the Gov agents amongst us so do it, prove it. So far no one as offered a shred of evidence to do so. My God Indy, don't realize the key to real profits, as any economist will tell you, is the ability to control supply. Works just was well in the oil business as it does in the narcotics business (or the banking business for that matter).
When the oil supply is slashed the oil economies will crash but wealth is never destroyed, it merely changes hands. Remember that the central banks of the world are privately owned. It is a win win for the super rich elites.
By the way what is the only real alternative to oil for energy right now? Nuclear! And who profits from that? The same cartel of super rich elites.
But this debate is a bit of a distraction. The real issue right now should be these new global biometric ID cards being issued to all the slaves.
I think it is utterly necessary to discuss who might or might not be disinfo spooks. The psyops is so much more sophisticated than the vast majority of people have any idea.
It takes a very sophisticated analysis to pick the raisins of truth among the nuggets of bullshit (this obviously makes the raisins unappealing) at such sites as Rense and From the Wilderness.
On the other hand there are other CIA sites that are almost totally truthful. Perhaps their purpose is to scope out how many people have caught on and perhaps to identify their IP addresses.
I'm afraid we've all fallen through the Looking Glass. Surety is a scarce commodity.
Thank you Fintan for your article exposing Mike R. I have been a reader of his sight for a few years and have suspected that his sight mixes disinformation in with some truth. The most blatant of his lies are the promotion of hate and violence.Revero tells his reader to act out of rage to bring down the government. This sounds a lot like an agent of cointelpro to me. Rivero continually tries to isolate his readers as internally powerless without spirit or being part of a larger plan. Anyone proposing to represent the truth with fear and violence is clearly not looking for truth. Look at what the wrh yahoo group had to say about your post even they knew he was busted. Another lie that Mike supports is that the plane that hit the pentagon shattered like a Christmas tree ornament and that is the reason it left no recognizable debris. That idea goes against all scientific and historical facts about plane crashes. No one has yet to mentioned that cloakanddagger was also peddling the crooked teeth of Saddam and now their site has been pulled faster than you could say wtc 7. I was drawn to this site purely to hear the Kaminski interview. Fintan Dunne did a nice job with that, so kudos. However, this attack on WRH and Michael Rivero is the EXACT kind of distraction and disinfo that Kaminski's latest piece (Agents Provacateur) seeks to expose. I believe that Fintan Dunne has Rivero and Ruppert confused. I am a regular reader (favorite site) of WRH and Rivero is NOT a big proponent of Peak oil. In trying to promote the truth, as Kaminski so eloquently espouses, you are going to make some mistakes. This whole "teeth" thing is and incredibly minute part of WRH's heart or soul. If Rivero is guilty or promoting any viewpoint TOO much it would be the "pet goat" moment on 9/11 or the "dancing Israli's". Peak Oil is WAY down the list. Mr. Dunne needs to do some homework.

Rivero, What Really Happened, Go off, Dandelion, Gordon Thomas are essentially all part of an inbred and incestuous network of Right Wing propagandists and disinformation artists.
They included not only the standard Hard Right outlets like Newsmax but also Christian Fascist moupieces like Dandelion.
Their political function and agenda in general is to act as a phony opposition or Trojan Horse media specifically targetted towards those people who question the official story. If you study the disinformation put out by these propagandists, you will see a similar pattern in that they question the official story or version of events--only to carefully spin the issue in a way which just so happens to reinforce their own Right Wing agendas and political campaigns.
In particular with respect to 9-11, most of the sites have tried to seize upon obvious holes and lies in the official story about 9-11 in order to direct and deflect blame AWAY from the Bush Regime and American State in general towards some foreign bogeyman or patsy.
The bottom line is that these pseudo-alternative media outlets set up by the Right Wing have the effect of being classic CIA style psyops operations. They question the official story, only to steer and focus attention away from the more fascistic political factions which support the American military-corporate complex onto a suitable "enemy" foreign or domestic.

More evidence emerges that Rumsfeld's Pentagon is "running" Al Qaeda-affiliated terrorist organizations.
Relations between Washington and Tashkent finally boiled over after evidence that Pentagon special operations teams were involved in the Islamist revolt against President Islam Karimov's government in the town of Andijan on May 17. On July 29, Tashkent formally evicted the United States from its airbase at Karshi-Khanabad, also known as "K2." The Pentagon was given 180 days to evacuate all personnel, aircraft, and equipment from the base, which had been used by the United States since the Afghan war broke out following 911. The State Department was apparently blindsided by the abrupt Uzbek decision. It planned to send a diplomat to Tashkent on August 2 to negotiate the base's future. However, Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld had already decided to scrap K2 after he secured continued basing rights in Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. The Uzbek media has been abuzz with revelations that Pentagon special operations teams secretly met in Afghanistan with Tohir Yoldashev and members of his Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan (IMU), a group the U.S. State Department considers a terrorist organization allied to "Al Qaeda." The meetings were reported to have occurred before and after the Andijan revolt, which was blamed on IMU forces. The US-IMU meetings in Afghanistan were also referenced in an article in Asia Times by India's former ambassador to Uzbekistan and Turkey, M. K. Bhadrakumar. The Uzbek government obviously believes the Pentagon has been dealing with terrorist groups and decided to deny the Americans a base from which they might be using to foment Islamist terrorist operations in Uzbekistan and in surrounding countries.
