Police Apologise for Shooting Brazillian Dead

LONDON (Reuters) - Police acknowledged on Saturday the man they shot dead on Friday was not connected to bomb attacks on London the previous day, calling the shooting tragic and regrettable.

"We are now satisfied that he was not connected with the incidents of Thursday 21st July 2005," police said in a statement. "For somebody to lose their life in such circumstances is a tragedy and one that the Metropolitan Police Service regrets".

"The man emerged from a block of flats in the Stockwell area that were under police surveillance as part of the investigation into the incidents on Thursday 21st July. "He was then followed by surveillance officers to the underground station. His clothing and behaviour added to their suspicions," said the statement -which added that the circumstances were being investigated.

Two possible scenarios, both leading to same conclusions whilst police can test out public and media response, at the same time hiking up the public anxiety.

1. Asian or dark skinned guy leaving his house is pursued by 3 white guys shouting STOP. Thinks they are BNP/racist thugs and heads for tube (safety of public place). Explains why he looked like a petrified rabbit, he is then shot in full view of the public.

2. Same scenario, but this is actually all staged and no-one really died.

Does this prompt outrage from the MSM and the 'general public'? NO.

Does it lead to calls to arm ALL the police? YES.

Does it lead to heightened fear/amxiety amongst the Muslim/Asian communities (and the rest of us who can see through this cover-up since 7/7)YES

Does it give the racists permission to attack any 'suspicious looking' person(after all the police can kill them) YES

Could there be calls for National Security measures (military coup)or a police state. Maybe, if it hasn't aleady happened whilst we were all looking the other way.

"Whatever the result, this referendum is no more than an episode, as Europe itself is only one more episode among others on the road to a greater loss of collective sovereignty. Beyond the figure of the passive or manipulated voter stands that of the hostage-citizen, taken captive by the ruling powers; in other words, a democratic form of state terror."

This was written by Jean Baudrillard in may as a comment to the two "NO" results in Franca and The Netherlands. He was right on the money! This is nothing else than state terror agaist a people taken hostage.

We are all doomed.

And I still have at least 50 years of life ahead of me.
But I digress.

I wasn't born in time to live in a dictatorship (I was born 5 years later).

Maybe it won't be so bad?

On a side note, what do you think I should get, when available:

the PlayStation 3
or the Xbox 360º

I wish nintendo would also step in the competition with a new killer console.

Maybe I get both and see for myself wish is best? Yes, that's it, sorry. NO NEED FOR YOUR OPINION HAHA.

As long as I have money and can go on in my beloved consumer spree I couldn't care less about a police state or whatever. I also don't care about spelling either.

P.S. - See the parallel?

Police state, democracy, whatever...
Playstation, Xbox, whatever ...

:))

What a wonderfull world - indeed
All we are asking is ... better paying jobs? - indeed
We are the world, we are the children - indeed (where is papa?)
Pátria, or muerte - uh yeah right
