Shell, Exxon and Qatar in $8 Billion mega gas project

Qatar has signed an eight billion dollar deal with Royal Dutch/Shell to supply liquefied natural gas to North America and Europe.

A heads of agreement with the Anglo-Dutch energy giant was inked in the capital Doha by Energy and Industry Minister Abdullah bin Hamad al-Attiyah, who chairs state-run Qatar Petroleum (QP), and Jeroen van der Veer, chief executive of the Royal Dutch/Shell group of companies.
