US troops using Iraqi children as human shields -report

No confirmation of these reports at this time:

"US forces kidnapped 10 children outside their homes in downtown al-Qa’im, a town on the Syrian border. The local correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam said that... he himself had personally seen the children on the vehicles, two children on each vehicle. The children were frightened and in tears and mothers and fathers ran after the American tanks and APCs, imploring the invaders to let their children go."

Double car bombing kills 34 US troops al-Hadithah

"Witnesses told Mafkarat al-Islam that one of the attack cars was an Opel and the other a pickup. The two vehicles, they said, blasted into the American column from both directions on the main street in the neighborhood, exploding simultaneously. In addition to the 34 dead, the witnesses said there were numerous American wounded."

If true - these are two huge stories. I hope we get some follow-up. Kidnapping and almost 3-dozen U.S. troops blown up.

Good God! How bad does it have to get before this country admits - IT'S BAD.

"If true," is the key point. These Mafkarat al-Islam reports are often never confirmed. They are sometimes frankly incredible.

Of significance may be that JihadUnspun also carries the Mafkarat al-Islam news stories. Many savvy news watchers regard JihadUnspun as a slick disinfo outfit.

Whether that reflects badly on the original reports is your call.
